Leaders of the Russian construction industry held an annual meeting

ERZ.RF � the Unified Resource of Developers and EXPOCENTRE AO organised the 10^th Russian Meeting on the Development of Housing Construction in the Russian Federation, which was the key event of the conference programme of Russian Construction Week 2026.

Heads of the Russian construction industry and leaders of the property development business discussed the most relevant problems. The meeting was moderated by Leonid Kazinets, President at the National Association of Home Builders.

In his greeting to the participants, Marat Khusnullin, Deputy Prime Minister of Russia, noted that despite external difficulties and challenges, the Russian construction industry had been showing sustainable growth in recent years. Since 2019, the volume of construction has increased by more than 30%.

"The main result of these six years is that 23.6 million families have improved their housing conditions. In addition, thanks to systemic measures and government policy, housing construction keeps actively developing. In 2024, more than 107 million square metres of housing were commissioned. Moreover, the record figure of 62.3 million square metres of individual housing construction has been surpassed," said the deputy prime minister.

Nikita Stasishin, Deputy Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities of Russia, spoke about the growth of production costs in the industry.

"The growth rate of construction costs for 2020-2024 averaged 78.6 % for the Moscow region, and 110.4 % for other Russian regions. But then people ask about high housing prices. If a year and a half ago, the cost of servicing bank loans did not exceed 5-6 % of the cost of production in the cost structure, today they are already approaching 20% or even more," said the deputy minister.

Roman Lyabikhov, First Deputy Chair at the Russian State Duma Committee on Construction and Housing Utilities, spoke about the issue of consumer extremism.

"Some decisions have already been taken that prevent consumer extremists from getting more than a certain amount, per cent from developers who transfer flats under a share participation agreement. But we will look into the law enforcement practice, because a number of developers claim that this is more than enough," said Roman Lyabikhov.

The meeting was also addressed by the heads of major industry companies, associations, government and financial institutions. The business related part of the meeting was concluded with an award ceremony for the winners in the TOP Residential Complex competition. Nikita Stasishin, Deputy Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities of Russia, and Efim Basin, Chair at the Committee on Entrepreneurship in the Construction Industry of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, awarded the companies that implemented the best projects in the property market in various nominations.

Opening ceremony of Olympics of Developers took place within Russian Construction Week

The opening ceremony of the first Olympics of Developers took place within the conference programme of Russian Construction Week 2026. The event is organised by ERZ.RF and EXPOCENTRE AO with the support of the Russian Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities.

The Olympics of Developers is a professional competition designed to identify the market leader based on the results of an objective assessment of submitted projects. The participants present implemented cases and applied solutions, which experts analyze according to measurable performance indicators.

The Olympics will have more than 240 reports from 56 teams in four thematic blocks: marketing and sales, management of real estate development business, product solutions, and digitalization and AI. The participants will share their experience in developing territories, strengthening brand awareness, increasing conversions, introducing AI, and creating public spaces.

The participants include such well-known companies as PIK, FSK Group, Donstroy, Etalon Group, Talan, Razvitie Group, GloraX, Level Group, ENCO, RAZUM, AlfaStroyInvest, Incity Development, Zhelezno, Unikey, Atlas Development, etc.

Kirill Kholopik, Head at ERZ.RF, presented the programme at the opening ceremony and spoke about the principles set out in the concept of the event.

"The First Olympics of Developers is a three-day competition for the title of the Best Development Company in Russia," said Kirill Kholopik. "The Olympics features 48 disciplines, which means that each company has several areas where it has a chance to become a champion."

Efim Basin, Chair at the Committee on Entrepreneurship in the Construction Industry of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, addressed the participants with a welcoming speech.

Russian Construction Week 2026�opened today at Timiryazev Centre. Its events are organised by EXPOCENTRE AO with the support of the Russian Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities, the National Association of Home Builders, the National Association of Manufacturers of Building Materials, Products and Structures, the Russian Union of Designers, the Single Developer Resource, and the Development School.

The Week brings together the 7th�International Exhibition for Building and Finishing Materials and Technologies � RosBuild 2026, and the 26th�International Exhibition for Glass Products, Manufacturing, Processing and Finishing Technology � World of Glass 2025, and the Forum for Building the Future of Russia Together.

Russian Construction Week promotes the implementation of national projects, renovation of the housing stock, development of modern urban environment and low-rise housing, bringing together professionals to share experience, demonstrate innovations, and generate business contacts.

Its central event is RosBuild 2026. This year the show occupies 7,400 sq. m to accommodate participants from Russia, Belarus and Uzbekistan.

The exhibition presented the latest achievements in various sectors of the construction industry. The exhibited products and services included construction and finishing materials, landscaping technologies, lighting engineering, illumination equipment, IT and BIM systems in construction, energy-saving solutions, smart house systems and automation, facade and roof structures, architecture, design and urbanism, and low-rise and modular construction. Thus, RosBuild reflected the latest trends of the industry and showed a wide range of advanced technologies and materials from digitalization of construction processes to energy-efficient developments.

Group stands of several Russian regions such as Lipetsk�and Kaliningrad�oblasts showcased the construction potential of Russia\'s regions. They demonstrated regional projects, construction materials and technologies. This format of participation gave Russian regional companies a chance to establish themselves at the federal level, generate new interregional business ties, and share experience with peers from other regions and countries.

A special focus of RosBuild 2025 was the Illuminating Cities special project. It was organised at the exhibition for the first time. This platform brought together leading Russian lighting equipment manufacturers, architects, developers and public customers to present cutting-edge solutions for urban lighting. Its visitors got acquainted with the latest lighting design technologies for the urban environment from smart street lighting systems to artistic architectural lighting of buildings. The project highlighted the importance of modern lighting technology in the development of a comfortable urban infrastructure and environment, and received a great response from a professional audience.

The RosBuild 2025 conference programme�was diverse and practical. The Forum for�Building the Future of Russia Together�hosted more than 100 events dedicated to the most relevant issues of the Russian construction industry.

Key events included the 10th�Russian Meeting on the Development of Housing Construction in the Russian Federation, the Conference on Digitalization in Housing Development, and Low House Russia 2025. Leading experts and business representatives discussed strategic issues of the industry from the introduction of AI and BIM in construction to incentives for the development of individual housing and industrial housing construction.

This year, Russian Construction Week hosted the first Supplier Day. It included a series of B2B negotiations between developers and suppliers of building materials and equipment aimed at developing direct cooperation. There was also a summit for purchasing directors of development companies dedicated to effective supply chain management in construction.

Thus, the RosBuild conference programme has provided industry professionals with a full-fledged space for dialogue, signing of contracts, and development of joint solutions. World of Glass 2025 is the main event of the Russian glass industry. It was already its 26th�edition this year. The show is dedicated to the latest technologies and equipment for the manufacture and processing of glass, glass products, and related materials.

Show highlights

The exhibitors showed products and solutions for all stages of glass production, i.e., equipment and technologies for the production of flat glass, mirrors, foam glass, glass blocks, various refractory materials and tools, translucent structures, as well as other innovative developments for the glass industry.

The exhibition welcomed the largest Russian manufacturers of glass products, as well as dozens of foreign companies. The contribution of manufacturers from China was particularly noticeable. There was even a local Chinese district at the show. The Chinese exhibitors brought advanced high-tech equipment for glass processing such as flat glass cutting lines, laser cutting, digital glass printing, automated units for assembling double-glazed windows, and much more.

The visitors could see live demonstrations of key processes, such as laser cutting and direct printing on glass. The presented large-format glass products aroused great interest, i.e., curved tempered double-glazed windows up to 7 m long, and special lifting and mounting manipulators for installing panoramic windows. These new products clearly demonstrated the current technological trends in the industry such as the desire to increase the size of glazing, and the strength and energy efficiency of glass, as well as the transition to innovative automated solutions for the processing and installation of glass structures.

Conference�programme

World of Glass 2025 was as usual accompanied by an extensive conference programme aimed at professionals of the glass market. Over four days, there were 17 workshops, conferences, and panels. One of the key events was the first edition of the Time of Glass Conference. It was organised with the participation of the OKNA MEDIA portal and brought together more than 100 representatives of the sector of double�glazed windows and glass processing to discuss pressing issues and market prospects.

Another key event was the First International Glass Congress. The event was organised by EXPOCENTRE in partnership with the Association of Container Glass Manufacturers. The congress has become a new global platform for dialogue between manufacturers, suppliers, and processors of glass. Its purpose is to provide a comprehensive analysis of the current state of the global and Russian glass industry, identify growth points, and share best practices for implementation of innovations.

In addition, World of Glass 2025 featured panels dedicated to the future of the glass industry, forums and discussions on various topics ranging from architectural glass and facade design to digital transformation of glass production.

Over the course of four days, the exhibition was attended by thousands of professionals from the glass and related industries. They were representatives of manufacturing companies, developers, engineers, buyers, and researchers. World of Glass created all the conditions for achieving practical results. Many exhibitors found new customers and partners, and signed preliminary cooperation agreements.

Russian Construction Week 2025�demonstrated the sustainable development of the construction and glass industries despite external challenges. International participants in both exhibitions � from neighboring countries, Europe and Asia � have emphasized the openness of the Russian market for the exchange of experience and technologies. The abundance of innovations at the stands showed that the industry relies on digitalization and quality improvement.

Volna successfully ending construction season 2024

Volna, part of the Siberian Cement holding, is a Russian chrysotile cement industry major. Its facade products are widely used in construction of residential and social buildings in various parts of the country. The company will demonstrate its products at RosBuild 2025 in spring.

The plant offers a wide range of products, including roofing sheets of SV and CE profiles (six- and eight-wave slate), flat pressed and unpressed sheets of various thicknesses, pressure and non-pressure pipes of various diameters, Volnacolor roofing material and Bergen fiber cement siding intended for low-rise construction, Vicolor facade boards with several types of coatings.

In 2024, a new high-tech line was put into operation at the enterprise. The project increased the plant\'s capacity for painting products, which will further expand the range of Vicolor facade boards with protective and decorative coatings. The growth in such production is due to its demand in Russia and neighboring countries, and cooperation with large developers.

Large batches of building materials are shipped for new residences in the Moscow region, including Evo, Level Yuzhnoportovaya and Sky Garden, as well as housing renovation projects, a downrange tracking station in the Poronaisk district of Sakhalin, Vostochny Cosmodrome facilities, and others. Deliveries to Kazakhstan have been active, as well.

Additionally, the enterprise ships corrugated and flat chrysotile cement sheets, pipe products, colored roofing and fiber cement siding to Russian regions. Over the first nine months of this year, it delivered more than 6 million square meters of chrysotile cement products to clients.

�On the whole, the company successfully passed the peak of the construction season 2024 and the collective met the targets. We are actively developing sales of painted products,� said Volna Managing Director Vladimir Geberlein. �Our immediate plans include testing capabilities of the new painting line. We continue to build partnerships with major commercial organizations, agricultural complexes, and housing capital repair funds, and fulfill our social obligations to the regional population with affordable quality products.�

Braitelek releases new lighting fixture series for its 30th anniversary

Braitelek, a Russian manufacturer of lighting equipment, marked its 30th anniversary this year. The company develops and makes lighting fixtures with unique design and technical characteristics. Hundreds of diverse, stylish lighting solutions by Braitelek have decorated parks, streets, pocket parks and squares of Russian cities over these years.

The company offers a wide range of lamps and metal structures for street decorative and outdoor functional lighting, as well as architectural and artistic, landscape, sports and industrial lighting. Axis, Amaris and Clio are parts of a new product line, which combines a single shape of the lamp body with various types of fastenings for lighting streets and other open spaces.

There are five different versions of lamps: the two-support Amaris floor lamp, the single-support Clio floor lamp, the Axis lamp with console, floor and pendant installation options.

Six types of optics with up to 140W power are available for the lamps. The body is made of die-cast aluminum with impact-resistant protective glass.

Another new product is the Flow cast iron support in a modern laconic design. Such a support is suitable for modern-style lamps emphasizing the status and originality of the project.

We are offering another review of RosBuild 2025 exhibitors to your attention. They replace traditional facade materials such as glass, creating a harmonious integration of energy production into the design and preserving the main functions � light transmission, thermal insulation and sound insulation.

Yelena, what are the immediate plans of your company: an update of product lines or new areas? What tasks do you set for yourselves by deciding to participate in RosBuild 2025?

We continue to develop and manufacture devices for architectural, artistic, landscape and utilitarian street lighting. We are launching a new series of LAKE built-in landscape ground lamps. We are updating the series of Floris GOBO projectors, which we have already shown at RosBuild. These and other new products will be announced in March 2025 and shown at our stand.

RosBuild is a great opportunity to see our partners from regions and Moscow, as well as to attract new interesting contacts. We are waiting for everyone, but especially for architects, lighting designers and developers, we will have something to show and tell them. And, of course, we want to participate in the business program, and just exchange industry news.

Ardatov Lighting Plant marks the 75^th anniversary by developing new interior, street lights

The Ardatov Lighting Plant, one of Russia�s biggest manufacturers of lighting fixtures, celebrated its 75^th anniversary this year. The plant makes over 4,000 models of lighting fixtures, from house and public utility lighting to explosion-proof floodlights, lighting systems and lighting control systems.

The plant has been successfully mastering new technologies and regularly updating its equipment in recent years. An effective network of permanent representatives has been created in the largest cities of Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus, in addition to a scientific and technical center located in Saransk. Its sales neared 3 billion rubles in 2023.

One of the popular solutions in modern lighting technology is functional and decorative lighting of premises and public spaces. Frameless (FLG) luminaires of the DSO33 series manufactured at the plant are installed at many educational, healthcare, and sports institutions. Devices of this series come in many shapes and sizes, and various colors and types of finishes for the body and diffuser. It is possible to control the luminous flux and color temperature using digital protocols.

For lighting public spaces, street lamps under the designer brand A1 (Bilbao, Napoli, Rome, etc.) on decorative supports, Premier luminaires, City lighting complexes are actively used.

The plant has developed the A1 brand of lighting fixtures a short time ago to respond to the needs of designers for architectural and facade lighting.
