RosBuild 2019: Wooden House Construction as a promising area in building and construction industry

Wooden House Construction has a special place in the trade show and supporting events of RosBuild 2019, a new international exhibition for building materials and technologies at Expocentre Fairgrounds.

Project owners, developers, building material manufacturers, architects, marketing experts and representatives of sectoral departments took part in the conference on Modern Timber Capabilities: Innovations, Technologies, Design organised by the Russian Wood Housing Association together with Research Institute of Building Constructions named after V. A. Koucherenko.

Experts from leading Russian wooden building companies and the wooden structures laboratory of Research Institute of Building Constructions named after V. A. Koucherenko presented the areas of engineering wood research, the latest standards and best international practices to the practitioners taking part in RosBuild 2019. The conference participants also exchanged their views about implemented projects and discussed various aspects and instruments for the development of international and Russian wooden house building market.

The conference was followed by the ProWood 2019 (sectoral expert prize of the Russian Wood Housing Association) awarding ceremony.
