Lighting manufacturers prepare for Russian Construction Week
As part of the preparations for Russian Construction Week 2024 and RosBuild 2024, EXPOCENTRE hosted a panel that brought together lighting manufacturers, developers and lighting designers. The meeting was dedicated to expanding the section presenting lighting equipment and lighting design.
The meeting was attended by the largest lighting manufacturers, such as IMG Lighting, Varton, Saros, Intiled, Zers Design, Samolet Group, Kultura Sveta Lighting Design Bureau, Laboratoria Sveta Lighting Design Bureau, and others.
The discussion was moderated by Rashid Artikov, member of the organising committee of Russian Construction Week, member of the presidium of the Scientific and Expert Council for monitoring the implementation of legislation in the field of energy, energy saving and energy efficiency under the Committee on Economic Policy of the Federation Council of the Russian Federal Assembly, head of the working group on Import Substitution for the Needs of Energy, Housing and Utilities Sector and Energy Consumers, member of the Expert Council of the Russian State Duma on import substitution.
The host of the meeting said that as part of the conference programme of Russian Construction Week 2024 for the first time there will be organised a panel on lighting design, which will be held on the same day as the event on LED equipment with the participation of its manufacturers. The panel participants will focus on the development of industry technologies and innovations in lighting and lighting design.
Rashid Artikov emphasised that special attention will be paid to typical lighting projects that have a good history and positive experience of implementation. “We have a lot of city embankments and protected natural and garden territories,” said the speaker. “Unfortunately, when organising their lighting, lighting equipment harmful to people’s health is often used. Lots of budget funds are allocated for the purchase of such equipment. There is an order from the President of Russia to work on creation of a comfortable living environment, and this is not only residential buildings and administrative offices, it is also public space: parks, sports grounds, recreation areas, municipal and regional highways, city yard areas. All this requires lighting with high-quality equipment.”
The discussion focused on filling the agenda of Russian Construction Week 2024 with topics requested by the participating companies to further attract the target audience to their stands. There was a proposal to create special presentation zones where it would be possible to demonstrate the possibilities of modern lighting design equipment.
Representatives of the leading Russian lighting manufacturers, developers and lighting designers who gathered at the meeting expressed their wishes, which will definitely be taken into account by the organisers when preparing the exhibition at EXPOCENTRE.
Russian Construction Week 2024 and the 5th International Exhibition for Building and Finishing Materials and Technologies – RosBuild 2024 will be held on 27 February - 1 March next year.
