The year 2024 is coming to an end, and most companies in the industry have summed up results of the construction season, which was challenging but productive. According to the Sherpa Group analytical agency, construction grew 3.9% year-on-year, to 6.41 trillion rubles in the first half of 2024. While responding to new challenges, companies are optimizing their costs and developing long-term relationships with suppliers and contractors.

This issue tells you about success of our exhibitors, manufacturers and suppliers from various parts of the country: Volna, Metallostroykonstruktsiya (MSK), SKIF Pro, Braitelek, Noviron and Import Komplekt Servis (IKS).

Dear colleagues, we congratulate you on the upcoming New Year on behalf of the exhibition management and wish you success, prosperity, implementation of new projects and good luck in all your endeavors! See you in the new year, 2025!

Volna successfully ending construction season 2024

Volna, part of the Siberian Cement holding, is a Russian chrysotile cement industry major. Its facade products are widely used in construction of residential and social buildings in various parts of the country. The company will demonstrate its products at RosBuild 2025 in spring.

The plant offers a wide range of products, including roofing sheets of SV and CE profiles (six- and eight-wave slate), flat pressed and unpressed sheets of various thicknesses, pressure and non-pressure pipes of various diameters, Volnacolor roofing material and Bergen fiber cement siding intended for low-rise construction, Vicolor facade boards with several types of coatings.

In 2024, a new high-tech line was put into operation at the enterprise. The project increased the plant's capacity for painting products, which will further expand the range of Vicolor facade boards with protective and decorative coatings. The growth in such production is due to its demand in Russia and neighboring countries, and cooperation with large developers.

Large batches of building materials are shipped for new residences in the Moscow region, including Evo, Level Yuzhnoportovaya and Sky Garden, as well as housing renovation projects, a downrange tracking station in the Poronaisk district of Sakhalin, Vostochny Cosmodrome facilities, and others. Deliveries to Kazakhstan have been active, as well.

Additionally, the enterprise ships corrugated and flat chrysotile cement sheets, pipe products, colored roofing and fiber cement siding to Russian regions. Over the first nine months of this year, it delivered more than 6 million square meters of chrysotile cement products to clients.

“On the whole, the company successfully passed the peak of the construction season 2024 and the collective met the targets. We are actively developing sales of painted products,” said Volna Managing Director Vladimir Geberlein. “Our immediate plans include testing capabilities of the new painting line. We continue to build partnerships with major commercial organizations, agricultural complexes, and housing capital repair funds, and fulfill our social obligations to the regional population with affordable quality products.”

Volna products are green, non-flammable, wear-resistant and aesthetically attractive and suit various types of climate.

“We will be happy to tell RosBuild visitors about our products in detail,” say the company’s representatives. “We are looking forward to see developers, architects and general contracts at our stand FD038. Visitors will be offered technical recommendations and answers to their questions asked directly to our specialists.”

House designs are truly unique, but most importantly, they have undeniable advantages appreciated by Wikkidom customers. First of all, these are unique architectural solutions and all components can be brought to the assembly site in a compact package, which significantly simplifies transportation to hard-to-reach or remote regions. Developers see several advantages, namely

  • the house frame can be assembled in just one day;
  • a clean construction site without debris;
  • owners can assemble the house themselves or with the help of specialists;
  • parts for I-beams and connections are cut on a high-precision CNC machine.

“Without false modesty, we position our product as a revolutionary solution for construction companies,” said Noviron General Director Dmitry Kashirsky. “Our advanced technology allows making a house frame by a client’s sketch in the shortest possible time. All elements of the structure are made of high-quality materials and supplied as ready-made kits. Importantly, the house kit constitutes its frame. This is the basis of your future home, on which the remaining elements are subsequently mounted. The use of bolted connections instead of self-tapping screws ensures high strength and reliability of the structure.”

“The assembly process is simple and clear due to the precise marking of parts and detailed instructions. That is, you do not need to involve specialists to assemble the house frame. This is an innovative, practical and very convenient construction set for building a house or outbuildings.

“We are planning to present several designs in various formats at the RosBuild exhibition. Firstly, there is a barn-style house, which combines elements of a traditional rural house and modern design solutions, to be displayed at booth O6-01 outside the Forum pavilion. There we also plan to place a structure from which garages, a canopy, sheds, and gazebos can be assembled.
