Russian Construction Week 2019: modern solutions for the Russian construction market

On April 2–5, 2019, Expocentre Fairgrounds hosts the first Russian Construction Week. Its key event is a new RosBuild international exhibition for building and finishing materials and technologies.

Within the Week, RosBuild 2019 runs concurrently with the Mir Stekla 2019 international exhibition for glass products, manufacturing, processing and finishing technology. This co-location will help to bring together under one roof all those involved in the construction market to learn about current developments, find the best suppliers, clients, customers and partners.

Show Highlights

• Wooden House Building Salon will show products and services for construction of individual cottages and houses. Its participants will include such well-known companies as RusWest, Izba De Luxe, GlavDachTrest, Holz House, Naturi, Impul's-Story, ZavDoz, InterInvestCom, Stroy House, etc. The salon will occupy Pavilion No.3 and will work one day longer than RosBuild, from 2 through 6 of April.   
• The Fund of Infrastructure and Educational Programs of RUSNANO Group will have a stand devoted to innovative solutions for urban improvement including products made from architectural high strength concrete, coatings with antibacterial and virucidal properties, and composite solutions.

Supporting events

• A panel discussion "Bringing National Projects to Life: Use of Modern Eco-friendly and Energy Efficient Solutions in Construction and Architecture" will be organised by Expocentre AO, the Union of Architects of Russia, and supported by the Russian Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities, the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Moscow City Government, and the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
• One of the most important events of RosBuild and Russian Construction Week will be the International Forum on Aluminium in Architecture and Construction. It is organised by the Union of Architects of Russia and the Union of Moscow Architects with support of the Russian Ministry of Construction, Housing and Utilities, the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Russian City Government, the Research Center of Construction, and the Russian Academy of Architecture and Construction Sciences. Its participants will include Krasnoyarsk Metallurgical Plant, DOZAKL, Tatprof,  Alucom, Iplana, Aluminium Metallurg Rus (AMR), SMK, Segal, Constructsia, GEZE, Aluminstroy, Alcotek, Alluminate, R.O.S.L.A., Alhan, 25 Micron, Gravis, etc.  
• The first Russian competition with foreign participants 'Aluminium in Architecture' will demonstrate capabilities of aluminium in construction. The winner will receive a national award for the best implemented construction project with aluminium.

• The Wood Housing Association will organise the Conference on Modern Timber Capabilities: Innovations, Technologies, Design and a presentation and ward ceremony of the first awards for wooden house construction – PROWOOD'19.
• The Russian Guild of Managers and Developers will organise conferences on
  development of competitive products in the current climate
  pros and cons of BIM technologies for interior modeling: is it worth overpaying for innovations?
• The Russian Union of Designers will organise the Low-Rise Russia Conference 2019. It will cover many important aspects of low-rise construction in Russia, introduction of innovative technologies and their influence on the whole construction industry and building of low-rise housing.
• The Russian Union of Designers will also organise round tables for manufacturers of heat, water and sound insulation, roofing and composite materials  
  on use of modern heat and water proof innovative materials in construction
  practical use of BIM technologies in research, design and construction in Russia
• Other topics covered at supporting events will include regulations of use of aluminium in construction, new technologies and trends in architecture and construction, eco-friendly construction, construction high-rise and unique buildings, transport infrastructure, etc., light design, interior and product design, children’s architecture studios, etc.
