Press Release Russian Construction Week 2022
Russian Construction Week 2022 is Russia's leading business, which brings together exhibition and congress events in the construction industry. This year it once again will be a place for a dialogue between the authorities and business, discussion with market experts of current issues in the construction industry, as well as meetings of representatives of manufacturing and trading companies, leading manufacturers of building and finishing materials and equipment with developers and purchasers.
The Wee will have a series of important events including RosBuild 2022, the Salon of Low-rise House Construction, and the Building the Future of Russia Together Forum.
The main objective of Russian Construction Week is to support the implementation of state programmes and national projects, housing renovation programmes, the development of a modern urban environment and low-rise house construction.
The Week’s key event is the 3rd edition of the RosBuild International Exhibition for Building and Finishing Materials and Technologies, which brings together main sectors of the construction industry, helps to saturate the market with quality building materials, and promotes the latest technologies in construction. The exhibitors will showcase innovative developments and cutting-edge technologies in the production of building and finishing materials and structures, and introduce trends in architecture and design.

Show highlights
Companies from Russia's regions will take part in RosBuild with the help of the initiative and financial assistance of their respective regional Business Support Centres. The Irkutsk, Omsk and Orenburg oblasts will organise group stands. Each stand will have areas for product demonstration and an area for business talks with partners. The participation of companies from the regions will enhance the potential of the Russian construction industry.
RosBuild 2022 will feature a Passive House showcase, organised by the Passive House Institute. Its visitors will have a unique opportunity to learn about energy-efficient products as part of a unified passive house concept.
The Salon of Low-rise House Construction will be of interest not only to professionals, but also to private visitors who plan to build a country house. The salon will demonstrate modern technologies for the industrial construction of low-rise houses.
There will also be a unique event: the Right Frame House Masterclass. Balashov Houses will be building a frame house directly at the RosBuild show floor. The visitors will be able to observe all stages of construction in real time from the erection of walls to insulation and finishing. The company’s specialists will be available on site all days to answer visitors' questions.
Another master class, Technologies for Country Living, and a presentation of Open Village Business-Ecosystem will be held by representatives of Open Village. Over the course of four days, the company's stand will host live demonstrations of six building technologies which are the most popular today in mass countryside construction.
The master class will present STMK.pro, Peri, SipWood, Ytong, Paroc, Flat Roof, Innoblock, Balashov Houses, and Wienerberger.
Conference programme
An extensive conference programme of Russian Construction Week 2022 is organised with support of the Institute for the Development of the Construction Industry and is held under an umbrella name of Building the Future of Russia Together. It includes more than 50 events such as three large plenary meetings and different panels and master classes for construction industry professionals. Over four days, the participants will discuss housing construction, public procurement, pricing, production of building materials, digitalisation of the construction industry, marketing, and sales in the development industry.
The 7th Russian Meeting on the Development of Housing Construction, organised by the National Association of Home Builders, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, NOSTROY and EXPOCENTRE AO, will be a key event. One of the main issues of the Plenary Meeting on the Development of Housing Construction in the Russian Federation will be introduction of modern standards of integrated territorial development as a new quality standard of urban environment in Russia.
Right after the plenary meeting, there will be an award ceremony for regional developers – the winners of the Urban Development Contest "Top Residential Complexes 2022". The competition brought together 1,308 projects from 599 developers. The competition committee of the Top Residential Complexes Award 2022 approved the finalists from 66 regions in 155 nominations.
On the first day there will be the workshop on project financing for housing construction, the Conference on Healthy Buildings for Everyone, the panel on the main directions of development of technical regulation in construction, the District Conference of the Members of the National Association of Builders (NOSTROY), as well as many panels devoted to development of the rental housing market, green housing and utilities, public procurement and pricing in construction, financing of urban infrastructure, consumer qualities of new buildings, tools to stimulate investment activity in housing construction, housing architecture, model design in private housing construction, completion of problematic shared construction sites, development of large vacant territories, and other relevant issues.
The second day will open with a plenary meeting of the 2nd Russian Meeting on the Development of Building Materials Production, organised by the National Association of Manufacturers of Building Materials, Products and Structures, the National Association of Home Builders, and EXPOCENTRE AO.
The participants in different panels will talk about business process management for construction companies, energy efficiency in construction, technological aspects of increasing labour productivity in construction and their impact on the industry's contribution to the national economy, converting land to commercial use, a digital vector of expertise, design documentation expertise, experience in fighting illicit trafficking in construction products, conformity assessment of construction materials in building and structure construction, and other important topics.
The National Association of Home Builders, the Institute for the Development of the Construction Industry, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, and EXPOCENTRE AO will hold the Forum on Improving the Business Climate in Construction.
Russian Construction Week pays great attention to individual housing construction. The Russian Union of Builders, the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, NOSI – the National Association of Construction Industry Participants, and the National Association of Home Builders organise the 5th Conference Low House 2022, which will cover the issues of creating and developing conditions to encourage low-rise development and individual housing construction.
The changes in the building materials market during the pandemic (2020–2021) will be discussed at the 2nd Russian Meeting of Associations of Building Materials Manufacturers, organised by the National Association of Manufacturers of Building Materials, Products and Structures, the National Association of Home Builders, and EXPOCENTRE AO.
Special attention will be also paid to digitalization of construction. Several conferences and panels will be organised by the National Association of Manufacturers of Building materials, Products and Structures, the National Association of Home Builders, NAIMT – the National Association of Organizations in the Field of Information Modeling Technologies, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the Higher School of Economics, ProftBase, the Institute for the Development of the Construction Industry, the Institute for the Development of the Construction Industry, the National Association of Members Performing Engineering Surveys and Design Documentation, and EXPOCENTRE AO about digitalisation in building materials production, development of state-managed information systems in urban planning, management of apartment buildings, digital transformation of development, BIM technology in construction, smart house as a trend of modern housing, digitalisation in construction staffing, and development of digital libraries of standard details of engineering systems.
The Conference on the Passive House Energy-efficient Building Design and Construction Technologies will be devoted to specifics of energy efficient products and experience in their application. During the conference sections, the participants will share their experience in developing and adapting the passive house concept, application of modern thermal insulation materials, technical and engineering solutions for energy efficient dome houses, waterproofing and windproofing solutions for houses, design of energy efficient kindergarten of a new type, etc.
The Conference on Aluminium in Modern Construction, organised by the Aluminium Association and EXPOCENTRE AO, will cover the issues of the use of aluminium in construction, market developments, new technologies and solutions, new products, and advanced solutions for facades.
The topic of Marketing. Sales in Development will conclude the programme.
